This position will be for a wetland specialist working out of Morgantown WV with statewide responsibility. This position will focus on making highly erodible land (HEL) and wetland determinations for Food Security Act purposes and learning the rules associated with it to function as an agency expert. The successful candidate will function as a one person HEL and wetland determination team in most circumstances.
The position is still going thru human resources and a release date is not yet known. It has been a while in the making but an announcement is close. I plan to refer the announcement to this distribution list once released.

The Recent Graduates Program affords developmental experiences in the Federal Government intended to promote possible careers in the civil service to individuals who have recently graduated from qualifying educational institutions or programs. To be eligible, applicants must apply within two years of degree or certificate completion (except for veterans precluded from doing so due to their military service obligation, who have up to six years after degree completion to apply). Successful applicants are placed in a dynamic, developmental program with the potential to lead to a civil service career in the Federal Government. The probationary program period will last up to 2 years due the training requirements of the position.
Eligibility
Recent graduates who have completed, within the previous two years, a qualifying bachelors, masters, professional, or doctorate degree.
Veterans unable to apply within two years of receiving their degree, due to military service obligation, have as much as six years after degree completion to apply.
Conversion from the program to permanent employment will be dependent upon successful job performance and program requirements.
