The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural resources is responsible for managing 2.2 million acres of state forest by advocating and promoting forest conservation, preventing and suppressing wildfires, and protecting the forest from destructive insects and diseases.

As positions become available, they will be posted for about two weeks. Prospective employees will apply, answer a few questions and submit their application. Once the posting closes, they will receive a score based on the experience and training that is listed on their application.
