Here at the National Mall and Memorial Parks we are currently advertising for numerous
GS-5 career seasonal front-line interpreters. We have authorization to
hire at least 16 new permanent positions with this cert, so there's an
unprecedented opportunity for folks to not only apply for them,
but also be very competitive.
These positions will be duty stationed at the
National Mall, working at some of our nation's most beloved and iconic
memorials. We're looking for interpretive rock stars who want to
help us break the mold of what it means to be a 21st Century
interpreter. NAMA is all about innovation and collaboration. It's an incredibly
busy (29 million visitors a year) but fascinating and dynamic work
environment, with tremendous opportunities for professional
development and promotion through the ranks.
