The American Wind Wildlife Institute (AWWI) is a non-profit organization with the mission to facilitate timely and responsible development of wind energy while protecting wildlife and wildlife habitat.

Project Description

AWWI’s is seeking a temporary contractor(s) to accumulate, review, and pull pertinent data from publicly available wind-wildlife reports. The data will be stored in the American Wind Wildlife Information Center (AWWIC), a secure database containing proprietary and public data on wildlife at wind energy facilities. Deliverables include:
·         a complete list of the reports reviewed and their sources (if necessary), and
·         the completed spreadsheets with wind-wildlife data from each report.
Qualifications

Contractor(s)must:
1.       have knowledge of and access to a computer with Microsoft Word and Excel to summarize data,
2.       be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, and
3.       be able to work for extended periods on the computer. 
A background in biology, wind energy, or wind-wildlife reports and data is preferred, but not required.

Compensation and Additional Information: The contractor(s) will be paid $20 per hour. Contract is not to exceed 450 hours. The project and contract must be completed by January 31, 2016.
