Paid Internship Opportunities
US Forest Service

Environment for the Americas has some opportunities that might be of interest to students who have recently graduated or graduate this summer.

We have seven new 6 to 12 month paid internship positions (and benefits!) with the US Forest Service. Upon successful completion of the program, which starts in September, participants earn Direct Hire Authority (DHA), meaning they qualify for Non-Competitive Eligibility for term, temporary, and permanent Forest Service positions.

These positions offer a unique opportunity for employment at these uncertain times of COVID-19, and the big prize at the end - DHA! Particular attention will be given to ensure full representation of women and participants from historically Black, Hispanic, and Native American schools or other schools with diverse student populations.

You can learn more about these positions on our website, at https://www.environmentamericas.org/internships/internships/

The deadline to apply is July 13th.
