Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assists management with the detailed tracking of data verifications and analysis. • Reports directly to Program Manager(s). • Works independently. • Abides by and adheres to all normal safety or security rules and regulations. • Reports infractions of safety or security rules and regulations. • Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties listed above. • Participates in weekly status conference calls.
Required Skills and Abilities: • Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires balancing competing priorities. • In addition, candidate should have creative problem solving skills, including the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex problems, especially using statistical and quantitative analysis, and ability to summarize those findings in a succinct and clearly written report. • Qualified applicants should possess excellent analytic skills as well as some writing and editing skills. • Applicant must be an energetic self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervisory input on assigned projects. • Experience analyzing data and producing reports a must. • The employee must conceptualize, plan and implement means of achieving defined analysis tasks with little, if any, higher level of technical guidance available. • Organization, communication, customer service and a willingness to take on challenges are keys to success in this position.
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements: • Expert knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access is required. • Some working knowledge of GIS systems is a plus. • Intermediate knowledge of other office applications is necessary.
Education and Experience Required: • 1-3 years of relevant experience. • Bachelor’s Degree, social science or related field preferred (sociology, economics, demographics, etc.)
