Senior Associate, U.S. Oceans (Campaigning/Outreach)

  • Organization: The Pew Charitable Trusts

  • Description: 5+ years of advocacy and/or political campaign outreach and organizing experience. A Bachelor's degree is also required. This role is based in Washington DC and will work collaboratively with the team to establish an ecosystem-based approach to fisheries management in U.S. law and policy. This role will lead coalition-building and outreach efforts and provide strategic recommendations to promote Pew's policy objectives within the U.S. Congress and federal government agencies.

Senior Associate, Protecting Ocean Life on the High Seas

  • Organization: The Pew Charitable Trusts
  • Location: Washington DC
  • Description: 5+ years of experience in the international conservation arena, with a particular focus on or familiarity with the international policy arena, including working with the U.N. is strongly preferred. A Bachelor's degree is also required. This role is based in Washington DC and will assist in developing and implementing a global campaign to advance a new international legal instrument enabling the establishment of marine protected areas and reserves on the high seas.

Fishery Management Specialist

  • Location: Silver Spring, MD 
  • Description: This position is located in the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Sustainable Fisheries. The Specialist will work in the Domestic Fisheries Division to implement sustainable management of U.S. federal marine fisheries under the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and other related statutes and to support efforts to develop, review and implement national regulations and policies pertaining to fishery management.
