Part-time LEAF Youth Program Assistant
Common good City Farm is looking for a creative and energetic individual to support their LEAF after-school program. LEAF (Learning for the Environment, Agriculture, and Food) is a drop in youth program designed for elementary age students that live in the surrounding area of Common Good City Farm. The program focuses on hands on learning including garden science, working in our youth garden, nutrition, making art for the farm and each class involves preparing a snack using fresh produce. The program takes place primarily on our farm space, but will move indoors as needed during winter or severe weather. The LEAF Youth Program Assistant will take part in curriculum planning, procuring needed supplies, facilitating lessons, data tracking and managing volunteers. Applicants should be available during program hours, Wednesdays and Sundays from 4-6 pm.
