A Booz Allen contract is hiring a Water Resources Resilience Analyst to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s water programs and policy development, and the Department of Defense Water Resilience Team. ENSP and other UMD grads have done well on this contract, so I thought I’d share the job description with you in case you know of anyone with around three years of professional experience and/or a master’s degree in water resources management or water resilience looking for job opportunities.
The work we’re doing with this client is exciting! We recently developed the DoD Water Management and Security Assessment Methodology to conduct screening-level water risk assessments at all military installations. This year, we’re writing a script to automate the assessments and developing a Tableau and GIS dashboard to display the results. The Booz Allen team is also supporting the client with water resilience policy and guidance development; water rights policy and issues; congressional requests for information, reporting, and briefings; data collection and analysis; and the intersections of DoD water, energy, and climate change programs.
