Participants Needed
ENSP Career Exploration Night

The Environmental Science & Policy (ENSP) Program in conjunction with the University Career Center is happy to announce our second ENSP Career Exploration Night. The purpose of ENSP Career Exploration Night is to expose current ENSP students to professionals and alumni working in a wide variety of environmental science and/or policy careers. 

ENSP Career Exploration Night will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at the University Career Center. We are looking for 10 -12 professionals who are willing to share their career background and experiences with students through informal round table networking discussions.

We hope to have a diverse set of professionals from backgrounds that compliment and align with our 12 ENSP concentrations. We are specifically looking for professionals with experiences in:
  • Urban and/or Sustainable Agriculture
  • Federal Government
  • Anthropology (human-environment relations, cultural resource management, advocacy, environmental justice, community-based conservation initiatives, etc.)
  • Wildlife field work
  • Law
  • Economics (budgeting cost benefit for new environmental programs, environmental policy assessments, environmental/resource management)
  • GIS/Remote Sensing
  • Climate Change
  • Non-Profit or Advocacy 

NOTE: We may get more participants than needed! If for whatever reason we do not need your assistance for this particular event, we plan to keep your information on file for any programming we may plan in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
